Rutvi Shah, MHC-LP, obtained her Master’s degree Mental Health Counseling at New York University. Ms. Shah graduated from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with Education Studies. Her experience includes working as a psychology mentor at the University of Warwick, where she provided one-on-one coaching and support to students experiencing challenges with the transition into university life. She has trained in an outpatient mental health private practice, where she worked with individuals facing a range of mental health issues.
In her clinical practice, Ms. Shah works with adolescents, young adults and adults, addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, grief, trauma, and intergenerational conflict. She utilizes an integrative, client-centered approach, drawing upon psychodynamic foundations, cognitive-behavioral modalities, mindfulness techniques, and a trauma-informed lens. This tailored, collaborative approach allows her to address the unique needs and concerns of each individual client.
