COVID-19
MTZ Counseling follows CDC and New York State Covid-19 guidelines.
Confidentiality
All sessions are fully confidential as bound by New York State HIPPA Regulations. Signed consent by the client is required in order to disclose information or communicate with other healthcare providers.
Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy requires a 24-hour notice, or at least one business day. For Monday appointments, notice must be given on the Friday preceding the appointment. Less than 24-hour/one business day notice results in the full charge for the session. This amount is the agreed upon fee for self paying patients. For insurance patients, the fee for late cancellation is $100.
Payment
Payment is expected at each appointment. We accept cash, personal checks and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and American Express). You can pay by credit card in the office or by using PayPal here.
We do not provide Emotional Support Animal Letters.
Professional Training Workshop Policies
Our educational workshops are open to mental health professionals and graduate students of all disciplines.
MTZ Counseling (Michal Tziyon, LCSW, PLLC) is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Mental Health Practitioners as an approved provider of Continuing Education for Licensed Mental Health Counselors #MHC-0170.
MTZ Counseling (Michal Tziyon, LCSW, PLLC) is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing Education for licensed social workers #SW-0578.
Certificates of Completion are provided to participants via email within 10 business days of the educational event.
Costs, Refunds and Cancelation Policy

You will receive a full refund if cancelling more than 2 business days/48 hours prior to the time and date of this event.
There is no refund if cancelling less than 2 days/48 hours prior to time and date of this event
You will be fully refunded if MTZ Counseling cancels an event.
