Ms. Tziyon, LCSW, is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She obtained her Master of Social Work Degree from New York University with post-graduate clinical training in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy at the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies, and family and divorce mediation training from the Ackerman Institute for the Family. She is currently a doctoral candidate working towards a clinical doctorate degree in psychoanalysis (PsyaD) at the Boston Graduate School for Psychoanalysis.
Ms. Tziyon has been in practice since 1999. She has worked in the mental health field in both inpatient and outpatient settings and has been exclusively in private practice since 2007. Ms Tziyon founded MTZ Counseling in 2017 and recruits exceptionally talented psychotherapists and graduate psychotherapy interns for the practice. MTZ Counseling is a training site for graduate students from New York University School of Social Work; Baruch College at the City University of New York, Master’s in Mental Health Counseling; and University at Buffalo State University of New York, Master’s in Mental Health Counseling.
Ms. Tziyon finds great fulfillment in her clinical work with patients and her mentoring relationships with MTZ Counseling staff and graduate interns. She currently directs her group practice in Tribeca, lower Manhattan.
