Ms. Gonzales is obtaining her Master of Social Work degree at New York University. She holds a dual Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Theatre from the University of Southern California. She previously worked with refugees and asylum seekers, offering integrative counseling, and writing letters in support of legal cases.

Ms. Gonzales's approach is informed by her background in community organizing and the arts. She believes that social issues are inextricable from our mental health. Ms. Gonzales is passionate about examining narratives around mental health and finding life-affirming ways to generate personal and collective power. She has a strong interest in altered states and spirituality.

Drawing from psychodynamic, somatic, and mindfulness-based modalities, Ms. Gonzales works collaboratively with folx to foster safety and expansiveness in our bodies. She is committed to anti-oppressive practice, is queer- and disability-affirming, and works with adults and couples from all cultural backgrounds. She helps folx navigate anxiety, PTSD, life transitions, psychiatric and medical trauma, sexual abuse, and challenges with identity.
