Jennifer Rubell holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Harvard University and is pursuing her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Baruch College. She works with individuals and couples who may find themselves reacting in ways they don’t fully understand, feeling stuck, or caught in patterns that repeat across relationships. Ms. Rubell collaborates with clients to develop a way of understanding their lives that reflects how they speak, relate, and make sense of their experience. Each therapeutic relationship is shaped by the specific people in the room.
Ms. Rubell works with adults of all ages, as well as couples navigating disconnection, conflict, or change in their relationships. Clients often come in when something that once worked is no longer working, or when they find themselves in familiar dynamics they can’t quite shift. This may show up as ongoing tension, difficulty communicating, or a sense that something important isn’t being said or understood.
Ms. Rubell often works with individuals and couples who have already spent time trying to understand themselves, but remain stuck in patterns that don’t easily change. Her work is collaborative and responsive, with an emphasis on staying close to what is happening in the therapeutic space and working from there.
