Emily Eichner, MSW-I, is obtaining her Master’s in Social Work at New York University. She earned her Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University. Ms. Eichner brings prior experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families in a variety of settings, including a charter elementary school, a public elementary school, and a private psychiatric inpatient hospital for adolescents and adults.
Ms. Eichner works with adolescents and adults. She is passionate about working with individuals facing challenges including anxiety, ADHD, trauma, body image issues, self-esteem, life transitions, and everyday challenges. Ms. Eichner utilizes a holistic, person-centered approach, encompassing strengths-based, trauma-informed, cognitive behavioral, and mindfulness-based practices.
Ms. Eichner creates a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where her clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions. She values collaboration in the therapeutic process and strives to foster self-awareness, resilience, and personal growth. Drawing from her previous experiences, she believes that therapy is not a one-size fits all approach. With her commitment to meeting her clients with openness, compassion, patience, and cultural sensitivity, she empowers clients to build on their strengths, develop effective coping skills, and move in the direction of a more fulfilling life.
