Daniel Muro, LMSW, is a New York State Licensed Master Social Worker. He received his master’s degree in social work from the Columbia University School of Social Work and holds a bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from Wesleyan University. Mr. Muro also completed Columbia University’s Psychedelic Therapy Training Program.

Mr. Muro works with individuals, couples, and families experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. He specializes in working with individuals navigating periods of change and uncertainty related to identity, career, and relationships. Mr. Muro draws from solution-focused and insight-oriented approaches, balancing practical strategies for addressing immediate concerns with opportunities for deeper self-exploration. His experience in advocacy, adult and child education, and immigrant services informs his understanding of how broader social systems interact with mental health and well-being.

Mr. Muro’s approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. He works with people of all ages and backgrounds to identify and develop their emotional resources, resilience, and capacity for self-compassion. Mr. Muro is committed to meeting clients where they are in their lives and making space for the complexity of their experiences.
