Audrey Eady, MHC-LP, obtained her Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Baruch College. Ms. Eady graduated from the University at Albany with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Sociology. Her experience includes working on the University at Albany Middle Earth Crisis Hotline where she served as a hotline responder and a training instructor.
Ms. Eady works with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. She works with a variety of issues, including life adjustment, relationship issues, gender and sexuality, race trauma, eating disorders and crisis intervention, as well as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family conflict.
Ms. Eady takes a client centered approach informed by psychodynamic, mindfulness, and CBT modalities. With an emphasis on creating a safe environment, Ms. Eady strives to investigate how past influences affect the here and now. By reflecting on personal patterns, effective changes can be put in motion to create lasting change in one’s life.
